Spiral Flair
Renovation

St. Albert, Alberta

Renovations always come with their share of challenges and this 1,980-square-foot bungalow was no exception. The vision for the space included opening up the dark kitchen, integrating a poorly designed addition, adding a dramatic powder room, and preserving the home's unique character—like the incredible spiral staircase leading to the loft.
Along with the stunning aesthetics, the 1970s home's structural integrity and functionality were significantly improved by upgrading insulation, installing new electrical wiring, and adding structural beams for adequate support.
The kitchen design drew inspiration from the timeless elegance of Café White appliances, pairing them with two-toned millwork for a classic yet contemporary look. Additionally, we reimagined an extra bedroom, converting it into a spacious ensuite and walk-in closet connected to the primary bedroom.
The result? A home that flawlessly blends modern living with its original charm, combining style and functionality.
